Good morning, I am writing to you here, Dr. Gloria López Morales President of the Conservatory sent a cordial greeting on my behalf and the group of women traditional cooks of Copoya that I represent. I am pleased to let you know that thanks to the award that was given to us, we have made improvements in our kitchen. That we cooked on normal stoves where we used a lot of wood and too much smoke that damaged us.
Now we buy ecological stoves where there is not so much smoke, we also made improvements in the floor since it was dirt, now we put brick.
We are proud to be able to contribute to the rescue of our traditional Zoque food, since it was being lost in our ejido. Now there is more movement and a tourist stop since we also have the Christ of Copoya, tourist attraction of our ejido.
